Travelling information

It is advisable that participants arrive in Swaziland at least a day before the start of the course. It is important to start early preparations towards securing passports, applicable visas, travel health and accident insurance, as well as any clearances that participants may need.
If you are from a yellow fever-mapped zone, you may need to process a valid yellow fever certificate. Most SADC member countries, as well as citizens of most of Commonwealth countries, do not require a visa prior to departure to Swaziland.
In most cases visas are issued at the port of entry. If you are not sure if you need a visa, please contact us for further clarifications and procedures. Manzini Airport is only 36 kms from Mbabane, where the training center is. We provide free transport for our delegates.
Upon receiving your travel details, our welfare officer will always be at the airport to receive you. We do not charge you for this service. Once in Swaziland, we will assist in confirming your return trip. The cost of air-ticket from various countries to Swaziland varies. Please check with any travel agent in the capital city of your country for a quote.
Travel Health Insurance
The quote for tuition fees does not include medical expenses and medications prescribed by a medical practitioner. It is advised that participants take out a travel health insurance, or budget sufficient funds to cover any possible medical contingency. You may arrange this facility through your local travel agent or an insurance broker in the capital city of your country.
