Advanced Professional Development Programme
This programme addresses the needs of professionals working in diverse field, who wish to develop their knowledge in a certain area. Training programmes are individually designed for each participant according to their specific needs. Components include courses offered by Fida’s faculty, is complimented by guided and monitored projects and study visits.
Approach to Training
Practical participant – centered activities are fundamental to all Fida courses. In line adult learning principles, Maximum use is made of syndicate exercises, case studies, field trips, role-playing, management games, plenary sessions and training videos. Participants are encouraged to be directly involved in analysing and solving managerial problems. Although participants will usually work in groups, there will be an expectation for each person to develop an individual action plan for implementation on return to their working environment.
International Training Courses

Customised Training Courses
In addition to enhancing capacities through training, Fida designs, develops and implements customised training to the specification of the requesting client organisation.
Every organisation with which we work is unique and change interventions required by our clients are most usually specific to that organisation. Wherever required, therefore, we work closely with our clients to develop unique training solutions that meet their specific needs.
For all customised training courses, Fida works closely with the client. The process will usually start with the clients own terms of reference, to which Fida responds. Meetings are scheduled with the client to discuss all aspects of the training, and to ensure that clients’ needs are met.
Seminar & Study visits
Many professionals are interested in field visit to observe state -of-the-art practices in their field. Course seminars –cum-study visits are designed to provide senior government officials, administrators and managers with opportunities to:
